Dr. Tamika Atkinson, DVM, has an extensive background in veterinary medicine and is a 2010 graduate of Tuskeegee University's -- School of Veterinary Medicine. She is an avid traveler, having visited over 30 countries and living in Spain. She is also a mom to adorable girls, that keep her super busy. She enjoys scuba diving, camping, and knitting in her down-time.

 

She created The Doorstep Vet to ensure that pet owners can access quality veterinary care at central locations or even in the comfort of their homes. The Doorstep Vet’s goal is always to provide accessible and exceptional veterinary care. We believe in providing the highest standard of care, in an ethical and professional manner to all of our patients and pet parents. By working with local pet retailers who share our vision in providing widely-accessible veterinary care, we have created an ever-growing network of Community Clinics.
